Many people don't realize the geography that goes into football like people dont really realize that every team is named after where the team is made even though it seems self explanatory its very easy not to realize. 

Then you have to realize that players come from all over the world to each club like for example the Manchester united team has countries such as england, italy, france, spain, ecuador, ivory coast, sweden, netherlands, argentina and more and they are one of the teams with the least florin players in it.

Then there is also the fact that teams move all around the world to play matches showing nearly everywhere in the world people play football which is crazy to me. For example in the champions league teams from england go to spain, portugal, france and many more and then the teams on preseason tour go to places such as america, japan, china,australia and more which i find pretty cool in my opinion.

Then also for tournaments such as the world cup. When most of the countries from across the world come together and compete against each other to see who is the best country at the sport and it is the most important tournament in all of football
